HS1900X 'Shinogi' 鎬

Inspired by Japanese sword craft, the HS1900X is an ultra-light, durable and high performance IEM. HS1900X features an Ultra Light (UL) earpiece constructed with precision-machined titanium and dry carbon. It also incorporates the third-generation Myrinx Composite Driver, a combination membrane structure made of Myrinx material and a thin titanium dome, further refined from the widely acclaimed HS1600 and HS1700 series.

The term "Shinogi" refers to the raised ridge on the side of a Japanese sword. Historically, swordsmiths created swords that balanced three key elements: sharpness, lightness, and durability. The HS1900X embodies these principles through its innovative design and engineering.

  • Titanium Chamber with Rib Structure: The HS1900X features a lightweight yet high-strength titanium chamber with a rib structure, which maintains durability while reducing material thickness.

  • Machined Dry Carbon Laminate: The body utilizes machined dry carbon laminate, resulting in a lightweight, high-strength non-metallic structure.

In terms of sound, the earphones deliver a spacious acoustic experience with light, transparent quality, delicate high-frequency extensions, and a solid, impactful soundstage—making it a true representation of "Shinogi."

Acoustune's Unique Industrial Design

The HS1900X 'Shinogi' adopts Acoustune's unique design identity, first featured with the HS1300SS and is also used in the flagship HS2000 series. The optimized dimensions and ergonomically designed housing ensure excellent fit performance. Furthermore, the UL (Ultra Light) titatnium and carbon body minimises ear fatigue during long listening sessions.

The HS1900x adopts Acoustune’s unique modular structure, completely separating the acoustic chamber (driver section) and the mechanical housing (connector section) to minimize the impact of mutual interference on sound quality. The thickness of the HS1900X's chassis is minimized to ensure a wide acoustic space and lightweight, while a rib structure was added for increased strength and rigidity, boasting exceptional resonance suppression and transient characteristics. This results in a vast, transparent soundstage with clear high-frequency expression.

Third-Generation Myrinx Composite Driver

The HS1900X uses a dynamic driver with a composite membrane structure, combining a thin Myrinx diaphragm and an ultra-thin titanium dome. A unique material used in Acoustune driver designs, Myrinx is a synthetic base material used for artificial skin and surgical sutures, but it is also a high-performance resin that boasts extremely high acoustic performance as a dynamic driver diaphragm material.

Based on expertise gained from the HS1600 and HS1700 series, the titanium thin-film dome has been further refined. By revisiting all aspects, including the membrane thickness and assembly methods to match the overall sound design, including the housing, chamber, and cable, the potential of the Myrinx composite driver has been fully realized. By using high-rigidity materials for the dome portion while maintaining the Myrinx diaphragm's flexibility, the earphones prevent resonance and distortion, delivering pure sound.

Pentaconn Ear IEMs Connector

The HS1900x adopts the "Pentaconn Ear" IEMs connector, designed and manufactured by Nippon DICS. Compared to traditional MMCX connectors, the Pentaconn Ear features a closer contact between the plug and socket, providing superior conductivity and acoustic characteristics while maintaining easy attachment/detachment and high durability.

New Reference Cable "ARC93"

The "ARC93" is a completely new cable developed during the design of the HS1900X. It aims to improve the S/N ratio across the entire frequency range by reducing conductor resistance and preventing audio signal loss. After numerous trials, a tin-plated OFC wire was chosen for its lightweight and well-balanced sound quality. The cable's coating uses Japanese-made PVC, known for its flexibility, vibration dampening, and noise resistance. Additionally, the entire cable is twisted to suppress the impact of noise on sound quality. The design features a consistent aesthetic with a graphite-colored coating and carbon parts throughout. To match recent listening environments, the ARC93 comes standard with a 4.4mm 5-pole balanced plug.

"AEX50" and "AEX70" eartips using shape memory polymer SMP iFit® made by SMP Technologies

HS1900X comes with two types of advanced eartips: AEX50 and AEX70, made with SMP Technologies' shape memory polymer "SMP iFit®". "SMP iFit®", has excellent shape recovery properties, and is designed to have properties close to that of human skin in terms of how long it takes the ear tip to return to its original shape when force is applied. This ensures a comfortable and natural fit even when used for long periods of time.

The AEX50 has a unique double wing shape with wide wings that fit over a larger area than regular ear tips, and the shape retention properties of the eartip material allow it to fit snugly around the entrance of the ear canal.

The AEX70 inherits the standard ear tip shape of Acoustune's AET07 and AEX07, but the shape and thickness have been adjusted to take into account the characteristics of "SMP iFit®" material.
