ACOUSTUNE
Description / Acoustune HS2000MX 'Sho' MKIII Myrinx Driver IEM

A Stunning Flagship
The HS2000MX Mk.III is an updated version of Acoustune's flagship HS2000MX SHO featuring the new ACT47 acoustic chamber unit. The ACT47, which uses pure silver material, has an exceptional high-frequency extension and tuning that takes advantage of its large specific gravity, resulting in an excellent sound field and spatial expression.
As a characteristic of pure silver, the ACT47 may oxidise over time. This oxidation does not affect sound quality or durability.

Latest Myrinx Composite Dynamic Driver with Japanese Beryllium Thin Film Dome
At the heart of all Acoustune earphones released to date is the Myrinx diaphragm made of medical grade polymer biomaterial as the base material. Myrinx is a synthetic base material used for artificial skin and surgical sutures, but it is also a high-performance resin that boasts extremely high acoustic performance as a dynamic driver diaphragm material.
On the HS2000MX MK.III, the Myrinx diaphragm is combined with a Japanese-made beryllium thin film processed dome. Acoustune developed the driver by studying rare materials which could not be used in mass produced products due supply and cost constraints. While retaining the characteristics of dynamic drivers such as seamless, smooth, linear reproduction and rich bass across the entire frequency range, the high-rigidity Beryllium metal dome suppresses resonance and achieves tight, well-controlled bass. It plays music like a well-organized orchestra.

Acoustune Capsule Technology (ACT)
Previous Acoustune products used a distinctive modular structure in which the acoustic chamber and mechanical housing were completely separated. The HS2000MX uses an even more advanced modular structure called Acoustune Capsule Technology (ACT). By opening and closing the highly precise movable outer housing, users can now replace the acoustic chamber themselves, allowing for a choice of differently tuned ACT modules (sold seperately) with different acoustic housing materials and driver designs.

"ARX500" Cable
The latest generation cable ARX500 included with the HS2000MX Mk.III comes with detachable 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced plugs. It uses a high-purity OFC 8-core braid structure and Pentaconn Ear connectors. By twisting core wires of different diameters in an optimal ratio, the ARX500 is designed for minimal audio signal transmission loss and improved S/N ratio across the entire frequency range. Each metal part is made of titanium with excellent corrosion resistance, and the sheath is made of a Japanese PVC which is also used for microphone cords. The cable has a triple shielding structure, which achieves high noise resistance and crosstalk reduction. It is a high-grade cable that does not compromise on quality and sound quality, using high-quality plugs and audio solder for the soldering parts in various places.

"AEX50" and "AEX70" eartips using shape memory polymer SMP iFit® made by SMP Technologies
HS2000MX Mk.III comes with two types of advanced eartips: AEX50 and AEX70, made with SMP Technologies' shape memory polymer "SMP iFit®". "SMP iFit®", has excellent shape recovery properties, and is designed to have properties close to that of human skin in terms of how long it takes the ear tip to return to its original shape when force is applied. This ensures a comfortable and natural fit even when used for long periods of time.
The AEX50 has a unique double wing shape with wide wings that fit over a larger area than regular ear tips, and the shape retention properties of the eartip material allow it to fit snugly around the entrance of the ear canal.
The AEX70 inherits the standard ear tip shape of Acoustune's AET07 and AEX07, but the shape and thickness have been adjusted to take into account the characteristics of "SMP iFit®" material.
