Acoustune HS2000MX 'Sho' MKII Myrinx Driver IEM
ACOUSTUNE
Description / Acoustune HS2000MX 'Sho' MKII Myrinx Driver IEM

'ACT05' Acoustic Chamber Unit
The HS2000MX SHO MKII continues to use the proven Myrinx composite driver with Japanese beryllium thin film dome for the diaphragm, and optimizes the acoustic tuning by combining it with an acoustic chamber body made of CNC-milled OFC (oxygen-free copper). The bass peak of the tuning used up until now has been further lowered, expanding both the width and the depth of the soundstage, producing rich audio.
Please note that, due to the nature of the OFC material, oxidation (rust) begins the moment it comes into contact with air, so the OFC chamber is coated with a coating that slows down oxidation. However, in principle, oxidation begins during processing, and black spots (oxidation) may be visible in some areas. Currently, it is very difficult to completely prevent the occurrence of these black spots, so this is not a defect.
Furthermore, although the above coating makes it less likely for black spots to appear over time, due to the characteristics of the product, we recommend wiping off any dirt, such as sebum, with a dry, soft cloth after use. Using cleaning agents, compounds, hard cloths, etc. may cause the coating to peel off and oxidation to spread rapidly.

Latest Myrinx Composite Dynamic Driver with Japanese Beryllium Thin Film Dome
At the heart of all Acoustune earphones released to date is the Myrinx diaphragm made of medical grade polymer biomaterial as the base material. Myrinx is a synthetic base material used for artificial skin and surgical sutures, but it is also a high-performance resin that boasts extremely high acoustic performance as a dynamic driver diaphragm material.
On the HS2000MX MK.II, the Myrinx diaphragm is combined with a Japanese-made beryllium thin film processed dome. Acoustune developed the driver by studying rare materials which could not be used in mass produced products due supply and cost constraints. While retaining the characteristics of dynamic drivers such as seamless, smooth, linear reproduction and rich bass across the entire frequency range, the high-rigidity Beryllium metal dome suppresses resonance and achieves tight, well-controlled bass. It plays music like a well-organized orchestra.

Acoustune Capsule Technology (ACT)
Previous Acoustune products used a distinctive modular structure in which the acoustic chamber and mechanical housing were completely separated. The HS2000MX uses an even more advanced modular structure called Acoustune Capsule Technology (ACT). By opening and closing the highly precise movable outer housing, users can now replace the acoustic chamber themselves, allowing for a choice of differently tuned ACT modules (sold seperately) with different acoustic housing materials and driver designs.
'ARS100' Cable
The cable uses Acoustune's new generation cable ARS100 series. After much trial and error with the wire material, number of cores, and braiding method, Acoustune decided to use the ARS100 series, using wire material developed in collaboration with a manufacturer specializing in audio cables, with a 16-core hybrid cable made of silver-coated OFC wire and ultra-fine OFC wire, and Pentaconn Ear terminals made by Nippon DICS.
While still using metal parts with high precision machining, the connector, splitter, earphone jack and other metal parts are gunmetal colored to match the color of the earphone body, creating a harmonious look for the entire earphone and creating a sense of luxury.
"AEX50" and "AEX70" eartips using shape memory polymer SMP iFit® made by SMP Technologies
HS2000MX Mk.II comes with two types of advanced eartips: AEX50 and AEX70, made with SMP Technologies' shape memory polymer "SMP iFit®". "SMP iFit®", has excellent shape recovery properties, and is designed to have properties close to that of human skin in terms of how long it takes the ear tip to return to its original shape when force is applied. This ensures a comfortable and natural fit even when used for long periods of time.
The AEX50 has a unique double wing shape with wide wings that fit over a larger area than regular ear tips, and the shape retention properties of the eartip material allow it to fit snugly around the entrance of the ear canal.
The AEX70 inherits the standard ear tip shape of Acoustune's AET07 and AEX07, but the shape and thickness have been adjusted to take into account the characteristics of "SMP iFit®" material.
AET07 silicone and AET02 foam tips are also included.
