Diana TC Signature Open Back Planar
We think the TC Signature is one of the most technically accomplished headphones we've heard from Abyss, with excellent clarity, detail resolution and a natural, open soundstage alongside the brand's signature tactile bass rumble. That said, we find the tuning sits brighter than other Abyss models, and the top end can feel a touch raw at times. We'd point classical and jazz listeners toward this one first, while pop and EDM fans may find the treble a little much.

Abyss Diana TC Signature builds off of the retired Diana TC model and includes all the latest comfort and refinements of the current Abyss Diana line-up; light weight, headband suspension sling, and pillow top ear pads including the very popular bass ported option in the box. The machined aluminum side frames on this Signature model were further refined for even lighter weight and acoustically matched to a newly designed next generation Abyss TC planar speaker driver to move more air and deliver a greater sense of space and impressive low frequency bass extension below 20Hz, even with bass porting or a break in seal. TC Signature has a bass response and fullness akin to to the Abyss 1266 TC in a compact, comfortable, formfitting luxury audiophile headphone.
Overall, the sound is similar to listening to a highly refined, detailed yet smooth 2 channel speaker system with a more intimate acoustic, and can easily supplement or replace the finest in loudspeakers for those downsizing or needing to relax without waking the family or neighbors. Abyss Diana TC Signature is designed for the finest audio systems, tubes or solid state.
