Natural and powerful, its sound is full-bodied, immersive, and engaging, creating a realistic, impactful, and all-encompassing presentation. The IEM housing is CNC-machined from a block of pure titanium into a one-piece
construction, then electroplated to achieve a satin finish.

The Meze ASTRU is Meze Audio’s new top-of-the-line single dynamic driver IEM.

It delivers a visceral, full-bodied, and highly detailed sound, combining the layering and imaging typically associated with multi-driver IEMs with the tonal density and natural warmth of a single DD, all within a cohesive, unified presentation.

The 10 mm dynamic driver features a multilayer metal-coated composite diaphragm. Its dome consists of an outer gold coating applied in 80 ultra-thin layers via physical vacuum DC magnetron sputtering over a 48-hour process, followed by a titanium layer bonded to a PEEK dome base, balancing stiffness, speed, and controlled resonance.

Building on the ergonomic foundations of previous Meze Audio designs (ALBA & ADVAR), the Meze Audio ASTRU’s shell geometry has been further refined for improved long-term comfort. Each chassis is CNC-machined from a single block of pure titanium, with multilayer electroplating to achieve a satin finish; one matched pair of shells requires up to 7 days of processing.

The cable features silver-plated Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (LC-OFC) conductors in a dual-strand design with 161 conductors per strand, insulated in SoftFlex PVC for added comfort and flexibility, with CNC-anodized
aluminum housings, and a gold-plated 4.4 mm balanced termination. Optimized for low resistance, signal purity, durability, and compatibility with high-end portable sources.
