VAMPIRE is Kotori Audio’s first single Balanced Armature (BA) driver In-Ear Monitor (IEM), utilising a Knowles® full-range BA driver. Through VAMPIRE, Kotori Audio also seeks to create a convenient daily driver IEM that provides great listening comfort in a small form factor.

By employing both a capable full-range driver and a carefully tuned acoustic chamber, we have engineered an IEM possessing a unique, lush and forward tonality that makes for an enjoyable listening experience.

VAMPIRE’s is driven by a single Knowles® Balanced Armature Driver, capable of delivering full-range sound from a small package. 

The carefully adjusted shell back volume controls the low range, further enhancing the vented driver’s performance and frequency response to match Kotori's tuning target.

A geometrically optimised bell-shaped acoustic horn near the output works in combination with the balanced armature driver to bring out its fullest potential, producing a lush, snappy and comfortable sound profile.

VAMPIRE’s shell has been designed to have a compact form factor, allowing it to fit a wide range of ear sizes. Its lightweight construction can be attributed to the shell’s all-resin construction, coming in at only 2.7 grams for each side of the IEM. 

Engineered with minimal contact points in mind, the IEM is designed to go unnoticed in the ear as it is worn for one’s musical enjoyment.

Each unit of VAMPIRE features a unique faceplate pattern — no two are the same. The deep mesmerizing scarlet design embodies the charm, elegance and enigma of a Vampire.
