Building on the popularity of the AMP13, the new iBasso AMP14 amp card features 6th Generation Korg Nutube vacuum tubes in a truly balanced design. With dedicated 4.4mm balanced headphone and line output, upgrade your DX300 / DX320 with the richness of a high performance headphone tube stage.

 

6th Generation Korg Nutube 

Provided by KORG and Noritake, the 6th Gen Nutube in the AMP14 operates exactly as a conventional triode vacuum tube design, delivering the rich overtones of a traditional tube amplifier in a compact, power efficient design.

The gain stage (voltage amplification) of the AMP14 is delivered through the Nutube 6P1 stage, while the 4.4mm line output is connected directly to the DAC for maximum performance.

Premium Pentaconn 4.4mm balanced sockets are used, for the highest quality and durability.

 

Cathode Input for Less Signal Inteference

The AMP14 uses a cathode input for reduced signal inteference from external sources. This results in excellent noise floor control and less susceptibility to WIFI inteference - resulting in a better experience with online music streaming services. 

When streaming, the AMP14 may experience subtle WiFi inteference when data buffering. This should be inaudible at normal volumes with most headphones, but very sensitive or low impedance earphones may pick up this noise.

 

Hand-Matched for Optimum Performance

Each AMP14 is tested and matched with an AP audio analyzer, so that the tubes in each unit can be calibrated and matched for clean, linear performance.

 

AMP14 is compatible with DX300 and DX320 series iBasso players. Please update the firmware to the latest version to have optimised suport.
