3T-154 uses high-hardness magnesium alloy as the shell material. Comparing the same volume of metal, this magnesium alloy is about 36% lighter than an aluminum alloy. It also has stronger rigidity, impact resistance, reduces resonance caused by the unit, and has excellent stability.

3T-154 features a 1.2mm quick switch plug system, which consists of four 1.2mm large-size pins.
