Project Ace is an IEM based on collaboration between HiBy and FAudio. As a brand specializing in the developing and manufacturing of high-end earphones, FAudio is headed by Ken Lee, who is also a music producer. The Project Ace has been developed and tuned for a brilliant, detailed sound for vocal lovers - reflecting the expertise of both manufacturers.

Project Ace features a dynamic driver with a large 12mm diaphragm. Larger than common 8 or 10mm dynamic diaphragms, the use of a larger diameter driver in a limited space reveals both accurate high frequency timbre and richer low and midrange detail. After iterative experimentation with processes and materials, the sweet spot for Project Ace was found to meet the acoustic design goals.

The diaphragm itself is Beryllium coated. Beryllium is prized for its high strength to weight ratio, ensuring the driver can deliver fast transient response with minimal distortion even at very high frequencies. Project Ace's beryllium-plated diaphragm is fast, accurate, making it perfect for displaying rich high frequency detail and wonderful tonal texture.

The driver's dome is made with Magnesium alloy, even lighter than beryllium. In order to reduce its density and mass, and increase its hardness and anti-resonant properties, lithium elements were alloyed with the Magnesium, treated with a specific annealing process. The application of this new magnesium alloy dome makes Project Ace's driver efficiency greatly improved, resulting in a deep and rich bass performance.

Project Ace features a newly developed airflow guidance model based on FAudio's patented "T.B.A.C." (Triple Built-in Acoustic Chamber) technology. For this special new driver, the Triple Acoustic Chamber was tuned to bring efficient airflow performance and natural air pressure movement for a comfortable listening experience.

The shell of Project Ace is made of T6063 aluminum alloy, which combines high strength, high anti-corrosion and light weight. Due to the toughness and rigidity of the shell material, also can harmonic vibration and distortion is significantly reduced.

The shell has been designed with ergonomic fit in mind, with careful consideration given to the angle of the sound tube.

Project Ace is paired with Litz Type5 coaxial braided cable, giving the cables excellent duability and anti-interference characteristics for cleaner signal transmission.

Copper and silver-plated cooper cores were chosen in a 1:1.6 ratio, with eight cores to offer very low internal resistance.

Utilizing HiBy's newly designed 4PIN-Lock multi-functional adapter system, the termination of the Project Ace can be switched between the included 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced terminations. USB-C termination is also available as an option.

The cable features a 0.78mm 2-pin connector for maximum compatibility.
