EarMen ST-Amp is a Fully Balanced Desktop Headphone Amplifier with the Pre Amp option and integrated DAC. It has extraordinary sound, whether you use the high quality internal ESS DAC or an external DAC of your choice. Despite high power output, the amplifier was carefully designed for headphones, and delivers clean audio with low distortion and no unpleasant clicks or pops when operating the unit.

The ST-Amp employs a fully balanced design, delivering clean audio from the balanced 4.4mm output. The ST-Amp also features an advanced topology for SE signals, with many of the benefits of the balanced connection with almost no phase shift, additional noise or THD.

The headphone outputs are powered by two TPA6120 operational amplifiers, a proven high performance option in modern headphone amplifier deisgns. To make the experience complete, the ST-Amp features a high-quality balanced ALPS potentiometer.

On the back panel of the device we have SE and BAL Pre-Out outputs. This option allows the user to use the ST-Amp as a DAC and preamplifier for a much more powerful system.

At the heart of the device itself is a noiseless linear power supply with great stability, so it can easily provide enough power even for the most demanding headphones. Apart from the special topology of the amplifier, the power supply itself demonstrates excellent characteristics even at full power.
