The Free BYRD combines full freedom of movement with superior beyerdynamic sound. Digital Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) enables a sound experience without disturbing ambient noise while maintaining a high sound quality.

When there is something important to listen to in the office or on the road, the Transparency mode blends in the outside world.
A powerful driver and the latest codecs such as aptX™ Adaptive and AAC provide a perfect sound image. Technologies such as Qualcomm® dual 2-mic cVc™ give the Free BYRD a first-class speech intelligibility when making calls, whether in mono or stereo mode.

The integrated rechargeable battery has an extra long battery life of typical 11 hours. When charging, the earbuds are put into the charging case and charged via USB-C or a Qi® charging pad. Silicone eartips in various sizes provide a perfect fit and are comfortable to wear at the same time.

The three additional supplied foam eartip sizes are very suitable for sports. Due to Google Fast Pair®, the Free BYRD connects to a device in seconds. As Google and Apple certified true wireless headphones, the voice assistants Alexa® and Siri® are available.

If used in latency critical applications (like gaming or watching videos), the low latency mode ensures perfect synchronisation between picture and sound.
The light guide system facilitates operation by using different light colours. The beyerdynamic MIY app can be used for further adjustments and updates to the Free BYRD.

According to the IPX4 certification, the Free BYRD is resistant against splashing water and sweat, making it very suitable for sporting activites.
